Due to the continued inability of the County to post job specifications to CEMA/OE3 both the Tuesday and Friday meetings will be cancelled this week. The County is meeting internally to determine if it is capable of turning around job specifications in a weekly fashion. To be clear the Union has done its part – we have honored every Tuesday and Friday meeting for the past 7 weeks and on only two of these 7 has the County had any specifications for us to review.
In more positive news OE3 has added a WebEx capacity to our future meetings so those who cannot physically attend will be able to remotely hear our conversation and review in real time the documents we are editing. We hope this new functionality will be a value added addition for our members. The credentials to participate will be furnished in the posting that announces the newest job specifications once we receive them. Should this WebEx functionality prove useful OE3 may well use it in other meetings as appropriate.
