We understand that this past few weeks and months have been difficult times for our organization, our members, and our staff. OE3 has been working vigorously to resolve the matter, and enforce the CEMA bylaws and uphold the democratic process. The court case that was to proceed today has been postponed to December 21 to allow the parties to mutually and voluntarily resolve the matter.
It is our sincerest hope and desire that we can come to an agreement on settlement terms that will safeguard the integrity of CEMA as an organization and ensure that we move forward in a positive direction in service to our membership. It is time to move past divisiveness within CEMA. Our members expect and deserve no less. We hope to report to you soon that we have resolved the matter completely.
Let’s focus on organizing our membership, the community and elected county leaders in support of fair contacts for CEMA members. Together we are truly stronger.
